Hey guys!

Hope everyone is having a great week! Don't stress too much for this upcoming Saturday. I know it's coming close but we shouldn't stress too much on it. Just remember to pray earnestly for Praise Night and that God will definetly work through us to glorify his name!

Here are few announcements for this week:

1) T-shirt : Remember to bring 10 dollars for the t-shirts this Friday! First comes first
   serve, so better have your money ready!
2) Friday 11/4: Remember guys we have Praise & Prayer night this upcoming Friday! We
     are not going to practice this Friday! Remember that! We encourage everyone to come
     to this night so we can lift up all our burdens and worries to God and give him the glory
     and honor he deserves before we perform the next day. The night starts at 8pm, so
     don't forget!
3) Praise Night Day : Everyone must be at the sanctuary by 12pm! We are going to start
    our run-throughs right away, so don't be late! Also everyone must eat lunch before
    they come to church! So eat something before you arrive! We are going to prepare till
    5pm. Dinner will be provided, so don't worry about that.

Praise Night '05

Who:    AKPC Radiate Ministry
What:   AKPC Youth Praise Night
When: Saturday November 5, 2005
            7pm - 9pm (Doors open 6.30pm)
Where: Austin Korean Presbyterian Church
            2000 Justin Ln. Austin, TX 78757
            (Sanctuary)
Why:    To glorify our heavenly Father and to rejoice in his name!

Come and join us for a time of praise and worship, glorifying our God through the talents and gifts He has given us. The night will be filled with praise, skit, bodyworship, hip-hop, spoken word, special songs, short film, and many more! You don't want to miss this grand experience!

Few Announcements:

1) This upcoming Friday(10/28) and Saturday(10/29) is a lock-in. We will be doing run throughs in the sanctuary after the open concert is over. Everyone be at the sanctuary at 11pm. We will meet first then branch off into our groups before we begin our run throughs. We will begin at 12am. Remember to bring the following:
    - Sleeping Bags
    - Bedtime Essentials
    - Bible
    - Any props, music, costumes, etc. pertaining to your group
    - A Smile
Everyone should be completed with your preparations by friday. We also encourage everyone to go! Mark it on your calendars guys!

2) The following Friday after Lock-in, 11/4 (the day before praise night), is Praise & Prayer Night. Instead of doing last minute preparations before the following day, we should all mediate in God's presence and give him the glory and honor he deserves before we perform the next day. We highly encourage everyone to go esp. those who are participating in Praise Night, as well as others who are not. This is a time where we can surrender infront of God and give up everything we have prepared for. Because this is not a night of self-satisfication, but a night of glorifying God.
We encourage everyone to go!

yes, we are still meeting this Friday...hurricane is supposed to hit us on Saturday...if anything changes, we'll notify you. FYI, we will either meet in Choir practice room or Portable House, not fellowship hall. Fellowship hall will have teachers' conference.

a call for everyone to spend some time in prayer for Hurricane Katrina victims in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. tens of thousands are stranded without basic necessities. death toll can rise beyond thousands. there is serious health risks with contaminated water. looting and rape are common now. national guards are moving in to restore order. they were given green lights to fire and kill anyone who are causing trouble. it is a big disaster...we should all be on our knees asking God to take sovereign control over all things...

hope all of you had wonderful weekend :) now, school has begun, hope you guys are ready to tackle on what God has called you to do...

few announcement this week...
1) ALIVE - there will be ALIVE this week, and we are going to start preparing for Praise Night..
2) PRAISE NIGHT - speaking of Praise Night, it will be held on Nov. 12...Please pray for this event...
3) MISSION TEAM PHOTO - pics from mission trip is available at John JDSN's office. Come pick one up.
4) DIRECTORY - we'll begin directory update this coming Sunday during Bible Study.
5) VACATION - John JDSN will be out of town all next week (to LA and Boston).
